Uchenna Okeja
Uchenna Okeja is a research professor in the faculty of humanities at Nelson Mandela University and director of the Emengini Institute for Comparative Global Studies in Worcester, MA. He was previously professor and chair of the philosophy department at Rhodes University and philosophy lecturer at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. He has held fellowships or visiting professorships at Harvard University, Utrecht University, University of Chicago, Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at Bad Homburg, Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies at UBC Vancouver and Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study. He is editor of Routledge Handbook of African Political Philosophy (London: Routledge 2023) and author of Deliberative Agency (Bloomington: Indiana University Press 2022).
